On 29 August 2023, GD Goenka Public School Sirsa organized a visit of girl students of Class 5 - 8 to Air Force Station Sirsa to commemorate Rakshabandhan with the Armed Force Personnel. The students tied their hand-made Rakhis on the wrist of Air Warriors to symbolize the protection provided by them to the citizens of the country. The Air Warriors blessed the students with health, happiness and prosperity. A motivational video was played which provided an insight of the role performed by Indian Armed Forces. The students were enthusiastic to know more about lifestyle and challenges faced by the Air Warriors. There queries were addressed during the prolific interaction which followed. In the closing addresses, the Air Warriors appreciated the gesture of school management for remembering them on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
