Pride of GD Goenka Sirsa | National Honour for Excellence in Hindi

GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa beams with pride as our brilliant student Poorvi Bagadiya has been conferred the prestigious Hindi Bal Sarvashreshth Samman. Poorvi earlier brought laurels to the school by winning the Gold Medal in the International Hindi Olympiad held in Delhi in December 2025. In recognition of her outstanding achievement, she was recently honoured at a national platform by NITI Aayog, Government of India.

This remarkable accomplishment reflects Poorvi’s dedication, linguistic excellence, and consistent academic brilliance. Her success is an inspiration for young learners and a testimony that with the right guidance and determination, milestones can be achieved.

Proud Moment for GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa

GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa proudly congratulates Hitarth Goyal for his commendable participation and achievement at the All India Chess Federation – National School U-07 Chess Championship 2025. Representing Haryana, Hitarth showcased exceptional focus, strategy, and sportsmanship at the prestigious championship held from 27th December to 31st December 2025 at Sarusajai Indoor Stadium, Guwahati, Assam.

Competing against talented young minds from across the nation, Hitarth scored 6 points out of 9 rounds, securing an impressive 9th rank in the final standings. His performance reflects dedication, discipline, and a strong passion for the game of chess.

The school management, staff members and Ms. Kareena Bhalla, Principal of Toddler House, applauded and appreciated Hitarth for bringing pride to the institution. We wish him continued success and many more milestones ahead.

A Proud Achievement at the District-Level Football Championship

GD Goenka Public School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its football team, who secured the Silver Medal at the District-Level Football Championship. Competing with great spirit and determination, our students displayed excellent teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, making the school proud.

The team delivered a commendable performance right from the league matches to the finals, earning their place on the podium after a series of intense and well-fought matches. This success reflects their hard work, regular practice, and passion for the game.

The Silver Medal–winning team included:

Jigar Sandhu, Varnit, Kabir, Krishan, Harshit, Parv Kamboj, Parv Hooda, and Gurshite, along with other dedicated team members who contributed wholeheartedly to this achievement.

The school management, principal, and teachers congratulated the players for their remarkable effort and appreciated the valuable guidance and training provided by the sports coach. They encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence and to aim for even greater achievements in the future.

District-Level Achievements at Bal Bhavan, Sirsa

Students of GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa once again brought laurels to the institution by delivering an outstanding performance at the District-Level Competition held at Bal Bhavan, Sirsa. Competing across diverse creative and expressive domains, our students demonstrated remarkable talent, confidence, and discipline.

The school proudly celebrates the following achievements: Kavya (Grade 7A3) secured First Position in Classical Solo Dance; Aarvi (Grade 7A3) earned Second Position in General Solo Dance; Poorvi (Grade 9A2) achieved Second Position in Speech; Hanshita (Grade 5A1) won First Position in Card Making; and Harseerat Kaur (Grade 8A2) received a Consolation Prize in Candle Making.

These young achievers were formally felicitated by the Haryana Bal Kalyan Parishad, District Sirsa, in recognition of their exemplary performances. Subsequently, the students were honored at the school by our Honorable Principal Ma’am and esteemed management members, who applauded their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
