EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO KURUKSHETRA.
“A nation’s heritage is its bridge to the past and its pathway to the future. Through the stories of history, we find inspiration to shape a better tomorrow.” Under the aegis of the Heritage Club, the students of GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, embarked on an enriching one-day educational trip to Kurukshetra. With excitement in the air, the students, accompanied by staff members, boarded deluxe buses in the early morning after receiving warm wishes from the Principal mam for a happy journey. Upon reaching Kurukshetra, the students began their day with a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the eventful day ahead. The first stop was the renowned ‘Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre,’ where students were treated to a fascinating 360-degree visual experience of the Mahabharata and insightful scientific experiments. The interactive exhibits and fun activities offered the students a unique opportunity to explore the blend of history and science. Next, the students visited the Shree Krishna Sangrahalaya, where they learned about Lord Krishna’s life and his timeless teachings. Afterward, a delightful lunch at a nearby hotel provided much-needed relaxation before continuing the journey. The students were then taken to the sacred Brahma Sarovar, where they offered their respects to Lord Krishna and marveled at the serene beauty of the sunset over the sacred waters. The day concluded with a captivating light and laser show at Jyotisar, which amazed the students with its breathtaking portrayal of divine moments through water and light. The memorable trip ended with a joyful dinner en route back to school, leaving the students with cherished memories of a day well spent.
