World Earth Day Celebration

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the Earth.” A special assembly was conducted today on the occasion of 'World Earth Day' in GDGPS Auditorium where students were informed about the various factors which are currently affecting our mother earth through different performances. Earth day is an annual event celebrated on April 22 every year. In the beginning, students were informed about the importance of Earth day and the need to save the planet. A skit was performed by the students that motivated all to keep the planet clean & beautiful. The theme of the assembly was 'Recycle, Reuse and Reduce.' A dance performance was given as a tribute to thank mother earth. Towards the end of the assembly, Our naturalist Principal ma'am addressed the assembly & shared her views about the need to save the mother earth and appreciated the student's efforts. Overall it was a beautiful assembly reminding us about the importance of small steps taken by us to save our mother earth.
